NEW DELHI: Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, who separated from Natasa Stankovic a few months back, shared a heartwarming moment with his son Agastya on Wednesday.
The couple, who were married for four years, announced their separation in July, confirming rumours of issues in their relationship.
“After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this in the best interest for the both of us.This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,” Pandya wrote on social media, revealing his divorce.
Following the separation, Natasa had travelled with their son to her hometown in Serbia, making their family dynamics the centre of public interest.
Despite the split, Hardik continues to spend quality time with Agastya.
In a rare sight since the separation, Hardik posted a touching picture on Instagram of himself and his son during a practice session ahead of India’s upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh.
In the post, both father and son are seen smiling, with Hardik captioning the photo: “My biggest motivation.”
Fans were delighted by the reunion, as it had been reported that Agastya hadn’t seen his father immediately after returning from Serbia.
The emotional reunion between father and son has struck a chord with many, especially as Hardik navigates a difficult time personally while staying focused on his cricket career.
